Rae burst onto the scene in 2008 with her first release signed to Defected Records, "Cant stop" with House Music legend, Sandy Rivera/Kings of Tomorrow was an instant hit, firmly establishing Rae's talents in the studio and profile in the house world. Following this successful debut release, Rae signed to Defected and became their first female DJ and vocalist, a winning combination that saw her become in demand both as a recording artist and DJ - with a stunning live show combining super sharp DJ skills with powerful vocals and a stunning image. Rae went on to deliver some of the hottest tunes of recent years, "Persuasion" was the follow-up collaboration with Sandy Rivera, a deep, melodic house track with emotive lyrics. The video for the song rocketed it's way to No.1 on the MTV Dance channel, proving Rae's credentials and skill of merging cool beats with a commercial edge. Rae's next two releases were produced with dance music favourite, ATFC. "Give Me Luv" and "It's Over" went on to deliver over 600k YouTube views between them, a huge achievement confirming Rae's global status. Rae re-united again with Sandy Rivera to release the seminal classic "Hide U." This track became a firm favourite around the world and is constantly requested by audiences demanding to hear Rae perform it in her live shows. The track has over 1million YouTube views alone across the different remixes, a true anthem. Rae has also produced tracks with the likes of Michael Gray (Full Intention), Danism, Studio Apartment and The Stafford Brothers, leading to her first solo single on Defected in May 2012 "Another Day." The track was championed by Danny Howard at Radio 1 and Steve Smart at London's Kiss FM before gaining huge support all around the World. It hit No.1 in the Traxsource chart and went on to become their No.1 for the top 100 tracks of the year. December 2012 saw the release of Rae's collaboration with Spanish House masters David Penn and Rober Gaez. "Survival" was released on Urbana with the Original Mix and Rae's remix storming to the top of the House charts. 2013 saw Rae back in the studio with Kings of tomorrow to bring a piece of infectious deep house with "Baby I want you" on Blackwiz records, and then the first collaboration with fellow UK producer Doorly, "Cant stop" on the mighty Toolroom records recently receiving massive support and plays from both Annie Mac and Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. As well as establishing an incredible recording career, Rae has continued to build her fan base around the globe with unique live performances. Rae was the first female DJ and artist to perform at Ushuaia Ibiza in it's opening season, playing regular sets throughout the summer whilst also playing to rave reviews at the World famous Pacha Ibiza. Rae's talents have not gone unnoticed by quality brands and labels, playing for Ministry of Sound and Pacha on International tours for both, across Brazil, India, Asia and Europe. Rae also performed at the renowned Winter Music Conference Pacha Pool Party at The Shelbourne Miami and at the first ever Pacha Festival in Amsterdam, other world festivals include Sunburn in Goa, Lake dance in The Netherlands and the iTunes Festival in the UK. Rae has also established several residencies In Europe and keeps a loyal London following playing frequently at The Egg and Pacha. Kicking off this year with an EP on Shadow childs label Food music, and forthcoming tracks on Lost records and Audio rehab, also follow up collaborations with David Penn, Doorly & Sandy Rivera. Rae continues on her mission with revere, In the studio and beyond, committed to stamping her sound firmly and further afield, leaving no club unturned.
